The ACSA
mission statement :
"To improve, promote and encourage intercultural
understanding and collaboration through educational,
cultural, social, artistic and creative activities,
including, but not limited to, the use of cultural radio
as the voice of the community." |
|

"This
will allow us to reach more listeners with a clearer broadcast."
said Dr. Dorothy Price,
President of ACSA.
RSA actively continues
to invite creative broadcasting ideas and new voices." |
RSA wants to serve the community in and around Nerja, aware
that this community includes various nationalities who use
English as a common language.
By offering
a wide range of programmes, with presenters who come from
very different backgrounds and develop their own styles, RSA
remains committed to a great majority of live broadcasts.
RSA, unlike
commercial radio, has no owners and is a non-profit making
venture ploughing surpluses back into projects and promotions.
Since its startup RSA has worked to fill its community
role as an alternative educational and cultural resource by
informing, entertaining, and involving international residents
and visitors.
RSA, Nerja´s
community radio station, has boosted its signal strength and
coverage area. ACSA-Asociacíon Cultural Sol de
Almijara-, through special sponsorship from local Spanish
businesses, has been able to install technical enhancements
of RSA that has resulted in better quality and
enlarged reception. |
