RSA broadcasts on the 99.1 fm wavelength and covers the eastern part of Axarquia, as shown by the map below.The core transmission area radiates from Nerja and takes in the surrounding towns.

It is the intention to transmit further afield as soon as administrative and technical aspects are improved, and RSA has recently improved its transmission power to reach a wider audience.

 It may be the case that signals overlap in some areas, under certain atmospheric conditions.
Unfortunately, the airwaves are quite crowded in Spain, and if we find our own signal being interfered with by others, we can only accept it as a fact of life that will not change unless regulations do.

 Fruitful and cordial discussions are taking place with the Junta de Andalucia, which is encouraging a "socio-cultural station" approach rather than a narrow format such as wall-to-wall specialised music only.
