PROGRAMME

Feria 2011 programme of events

Feria is from October 8th to October 12th and the main events are as follows:

Saturday 8th:
12:00 Children’s Day with all rides and attractions half price until 19:00.
20:30 Opening speech with the Nerja Municipal Band
23:30 Election of the Feria Queen and Caballero.

Sunday 9th:
12:00 Caseta Oficial – Performance by La Carpa and election of the junior Feria Queen and Caballero.
15:00 Caseta Oficial – Performances by local dance groups and artists until eight o’clock.
00:00 Concert by Ecos del Rocío.

Monday 10th (a holiday in Nerja):
13:00 Grand procession through the streets.
14:00 Election of Senior Queen and Caballero.
20:00 Procession of the patron saints of Nerja
23:00 Caseta Oficial – II Choir Festival

Tuesday 11th:
12:00 Day of the Tapa at the feria ground
00:00 Concert by Andy y Lucas. Entry €10.

Wednesday 12th:
12:00 – Various activities at the feria ground.
12:00 Mass in honour of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the Guardia Civil, at the iglesia El Salvador on the Balcon de Europa.
16:00 Caseta Oficial – Magic show for the kids with Luigi.
00:00 Noches de Copla featuring Raquel Peña and Monica Marquez.
